Camdyn has a new book called Olivia. It was a gift from a couple I taught in childbirth classes, and it's on the top of Camdyn's reading list now-a-days. In the story, Olivia's mom tells Olivia to take a nap, and then her mom leaves the room. So, Camdyn, wanting to be like Olivia, tells me to go to the other room when it's nap time - I did, and about 20 minutes later she came out pushing her stroller, with no pants on, but a pair of sandals on her feet!

Build-A-Bear
Last Friday was our friend Grant's 2nd birthday; we went to dinner and to Build-A-Bear to celebrate! Camdyn had a great time! She picked out a kitty cat, now named Whiskers, and stuffed her with fluff and a heart (shown in the first picture), gave her a bath complete with a good scrub with a comb (2nd and 3rd pictures), and then even got a stroller to push Whiskers around in! She LOVES the stroller. We weren't going to make it out of the store without it :-) Whiskers accompanies us almost everywhere now!

Christmas 2009
Camdyn got lots of presents in the mail in the days leading up to Christmas. She showed her baby doll all of them, and told her that she wasn't allowed to open them yet!
Making sugar cookies with daddy.
Dipping the finger in...
And now for a taste of dough!
Using cookie cutters...
The final product!
Opening one gift on Christmas Eve; A Mr. Potato head (affectionately called "Sam" by Camdyn) outfit!
Christmas morning, finally! A set of wooden food with knife and cutting board.
A new quilt and matching teddy bear. She had to try it out by laying down on it! The bear then tried on a hooded horse towel and new pajamas, too!
Waiting on Christmas dinner - hungry girl!

Thanksgiving 2009
For Thanksgiving this year, we went with friends to their family's lake house in East Texas. It was three days of being out in the middle of nowhere having fun! Camdyn had a great time with her two friends, Preston and Grant.
Here all three are in the wagon as we go for a walk.
Slide with mama!
Thanksgiving dinner, sharing a table with Preston.
In jammies and a hat, playing before bed.
Pretending to sleep on the floor with Preston, then laughing hysterically.
Driving the golf cart, which she's still talking about!
Back at home, she was really happy to see all of her stuffed animals, so she piled them on the couch to go night-night and then she laid down on top of all of them.
Helping put the "Christer Tree" decorations on.

Camdyn is 2!
Camdyn's 2nd birthday party was on Saturday - we went to Antz in Your Pantz, a great little place to have a birthday party! This huge stuffed bear was a favorite to play with.
More dress up; she loved the cape!
Sand table room.
Brownie flower cakes!
Small miracle; all 9 kids sitting at the same table, waiting on pizza and brownie cakes!
Wearing Mrs. Potato Heads glasses and putting together a puzzle!
And finally, on her actual birthday, we went to Starbucks and she had her first order of Kids Hot Cocoa. It was good :-)

Outside Fun and Walker turns 2!
Last weekend Camdyn took her Wheely Bug outside to ride along the sidewalks.
Hungry after Gymnastics class!
Camdyn's second favorite part of Walker's birthday party; the cupcakes!
The birthday boy, Walker!
The number one favorite part of the party was walking across the street from Walker's house to feed the ducks - such fun!

Trick or Treat
Our little bee!
Riding in the wagon with Grant (puppy dog) and Preston (Wall-E). And yes, that's a Snickers bar in her hand!
Getting some more candy!
Walking home, and probably with a mouth stuffed full of candy!
